- The pH of the shampoo is 5.5- 6, which is low for a cleansing shampoo, this tells us that the cuticles are only slightly lifted during the shampoo process and keeps close to the natural pH of hair ( 4.5 -5.5), so there isn't a huge amount of water absorption and the hair won't tangle during the shampoo process.
